Bridge Park Cottage is situated in the wonderfully secluded Glen Lochay, close to the
River Lochay
whose crystal waters, together with those of the Dochart, feeds Loch Tay half a mile away. The village of
Killin
is just under a mile from Bridge Park Cottage and is at the western edge of Stirling boarder with Perthshire in an area known as the
Trossachs.
Bridge Park Cottage stands in the middle of its large, sunny garden and offers complete seclusion and tranquillity. Often
the loudest noise you will hear for days on end will be the cows returning to the fields and the odd estate Land-Rover driving up the glen.
The bustling village of Killin is not far away and yet the road up Glen Lochay is little used and offers 6 miles of easy
walking. Near the top of the glen there is a road over to the adjacent Glen Lyon with its spectacular Loch Lyon Reservoir. Loch Tay is a short walk in the
other direction with a full range of water sports. There is also a charming 9-hole golf course.
The property will be available for occupation from 3pm on the first day of your holiday and must be vacated by 10am on the
last day. Only one, well-behaved pet will normally be allowed (see booking form for details).
Outside: There is garden furniture and a barbecue. Please keep the gate closed at all times to keep deer and sheep
out.
Linen: If required we can provide bed linen and towels at a price of £7.50 per person per week. See Booking Form for details.
We provide tea and coffee to welcome you on arrival.
We hope you will enjoy your visit to Scotland and would appreciate any testimonials about Bridge Park
Cottage.
